We are looking for a proactive and security-focused Systems Engineer to join our team immediately. If you have a passion for security and are eager to work closely with a dedicated team to drive impactful changes, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems Management: Administer and maintain Linux and Windows servers, RDS environments, AD/LDAP, and DNS configurations.
  • Automation & Scripting: Write and maintain scripts for system automation and log analysis, helping improve operational efficiency and troubleshoot issues.
  • Workstation Security: Manage and deploy antivirus solutions, and ensure secure VPN configurations for remote users.
  • Security Operations: Collaborate closely with the security team to handle SIEM operations, WAF (Cloudflare experience is a plus), and conduct detailed analysis of false positives.
  • Incident Response: Actively engage in the identification, monitoring, and resolution of security incidents, enhancing overall system security posture.
  • Continuous Improvement: Share knowledge and best practices with team members, contributing to the development of security policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Proactivity in Security: Continuously look for ways to improve security systems, tools, and protocols within the organization. Be a thought leader in ensuring proactive security measures are implemented and maintained.

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in Linux and Windows server administration.
  • Experience with Active Directory (AD) / LDAP, DNS, and RDS administration.
  • Solid knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar) and the ability to perform log analysis.
  • Workstation management experience, specifically in deploying antivirus solutions and configuring VPN environments.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools and Web Application Firewalls (WAF); Cloudflare experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to analyze and respond to false positive security alerts and incidents.
  • Appetite for working in the security field, staying updated on industry trends, and proactively identifying vulnerabilities and improvement areas.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative mindset, to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong desire to learn, share knowledge, and grow within a startup ecosystem.
