in six European markets.
As we are seeking to build up our operations in France, we’re searching for a dynamic professional to oversee the transition from the current lead generation business to an integrated digital insurance broker. Our aim is to build the largest online insurance broker in France.
This role will have strategic and operational responsibility for our French broker business and work closely with the French Managing Directors, international product manager and tech teams as well as CLARK Founders. The role is based in CLARKs Paris office with occasional travel.
Responsibilities
Growth Planning: Envision and define a clear roadmap for insourcing leads and expanding business, ensuring alignment with CLARK's overarching growth objectives
Market Positioning: Analyze the insurance landscape, determining competitor gaps and customer preferences to position CLARK uniquely
Lead Insourcing: Oversee the transition from external lead generation to in-house insurance sales, implementing processes, training, and monitoring systems
App Rollout: Coordinate with tech and product teams to facilitate the rollout of our insurance management app in new regions, including localization, compliance checks, and user testing
Process Implementation: Establish and optimize sales pipelines, customer relationship management, and feedback loops to ensure efficient insourcing of leads
Team Building & Training**: Actively recruit, train and upskill new insurance team members
Partnership Development: Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with insurance carriers and marketing partners and other potential collaborators to amplify our reach and offerings
Negotiation with Carriers: Directly negotiate contracts and terms with insurance providers. Ensure terms are favorable and in line with our growth strategies
Qualifications
5+ years in operations, revenue or growth role in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment or top-level strategy consulting firm
Successful track record of establishing and scaling teams and processes
Performance driven, agile and adaptable, with a data-driven mindset
Hands-on experience with sales tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms
Fluent in English and French (C1 level or native)
Bonus:
Strong network in the insurance industry, with proven negotiation skills
Experience and network in French insurance industry
