The role of the data team is to make this possible by treating data like a production asset, making it available company-wide, and using it proactively to improve Pennylane’s user experience.By joining us as a Data Engineering Manager, you will have a pivotal role in large projects, bringing your management and data engineering expertise to help us meet our high delivery standards.HOW you will contribute to the company- As a Data Engineering Manager, you will lead our Data Platform team (5 people), and be part of the Data Engineering team (20+ people) inside the Data department (50+ people).- You will define the team’s roadmap based on business priorities and technical requirements, and lead the team’s progress.-You will contribute technically to the design and implementation of data solutions (streaming, ETL, etc) and middleware components (CI/CD, core components as a service), and work hand in hand with machine learning engineers and analysts to tailor data solutions to their needs.- You will collaborate with Product Managers to ensure the highest impact and quality of data engineering work, as well as the best atmosphere and motivation in the team.- You will grow your team continuously, and team up with other managers to set up the right culture and processes to enable people.- You will work closely with software engineers -
