To strengthen the success gained, we are looking for a Head of Operations to join our team and to serve as an instrumental leader contributing to our success.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Manage and collaborate with the Area Manager and/or Store Manager to obtain business results in terms of sales, food cost, labour cost and customer service
  • Manage the supplier base: scouting new suppliers, negotiating economical conditions, check over on quality level and service level
  • Monitor daily operations and address potential issues when they arise
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple locations, ensuring efficiency, service quality, and compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Developing and implementing processes to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity
  • Coordinating restaurant staff, managing shift schedules, and training employees to maintain high standards of service and performance
  • Ensuring optimal stock levels and managing relationships with suppliers to prevent shortages and minimize waste
  • Monitoring operational expenses, optimizing resources, and ensuring profitability in alignment with the company's financial goals.
  • Ensuring that all locations provide a consistent and excellent customer experience, addressing any issues or complaints promptly.
  • Using operational data and KPIs to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensuring all stores adhere to local health, safety, and employment regulations, as well as internal company policies.
  • Engaging with and motivating staff to achieve high performance and maintain excellent service standards
  • Coordinating restaurant staff, managing shift schedules, and training employees to maintain high standards of service and performance
  • Coaching and mentoring employees to develop their skills and enhance customer experiences
  • Support the planning and execution of new restaurant openings in collaboration with the real estate development team.
  • Support the implementation of digital solutions like kiosks and KPI monitoring systems.
  • Adapt corporate initiatives (such as menu reviews) to the specific needs of the local market in collaboration with HQ.
  • Provide regular performance updates and progress reports to HQ
  • Collaborate with other departments (marketing, product, development) to execute operations strategies consistently
  • Supervise and support franchisees to ensure compliance with brand standards (if applicable)
  • Coordinate franchising expansion


REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 10+ years of business experience in operations in the retail food industry
  • Proven track record in overseeing operations across multiple locations in the food retail or quick-service restaurant (QSR) sector;
  • Experience in managing operations in other countries will be considered as a strong plus.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience ensuring compliance with local food safety regulations (HACCP, health inspections, etc.) and operational safety standards
  • Expertise in managing budgets, labor costs, and other operational expenses, with a focus on increasing profitability
  • Extensive experience in leading, mentoring, motivating and developing teams, particularly in fast-paced, customer-focused environments
  • Strong ability to engage and inspire employees, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated success in coaching staff to enhance performance and achieve business goals
  • Previous experience in managing vendor relationships, optimizing supply chain logistics, and controlling inventory in the food service industry
  • Proven success in streamlining processes, implementing operational best practices, and improving efficiency in food retail or similar industries
  • Previous experience ensuring excellent customer service and handling customer issues or feedback in a food retail environment
  • Familiarity with POS systems, restaurant management software, and data analytics tools to track operational performance
  • Good knowledge of English (B2 / C1)
