About the job: The brand sourcer Europe and US is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing partnerships with new and existing brands in Europe and in the US that align with Oli’s Lab's strategic goals. The role involves market research, negotiation, and relationship management to ensure a diverse and high-quality product assortment.
Reporting Line: CEO of Oli’s Lab
The Brand sourcer will have the following duties:
*  Market Research and Analysis:
   *  Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, new brands, and innovative products in the cosmetics industry.   *  Analyze competitor strategies and product offerings to inform sourcing decisions.
*  Brand Identification and Evaluation:
   *  Identify potential brand partners that align with the Oli’s Lab’s vision, target audience, and product standards.   *  Evaluate brand quality, product efficacy, and market potential through product testing, reviews, and performance metrics.
*  Relationship Management:
   *  Build and maintain strong relationships with brand representatives, suppliers, and manufacturers.   *  Serve as the primary point of contact for brand partners, facilitating communication and collaboration.
*  Negotiation and Contract Management:
   *  Negotiate terms of partnership agreements, including pricing, exclusivity, distribution rights, and marketing support.   *  Manage contract processes, ensuring compliance with Oli’s Lab policies and legal requirements.
*  Product Assortment and Development:
   *  Work with internal teams (e.g., marketing, sales, product development) to integrate new brands into Oli’s Lab's product portfolio.   *  Collaborate on product launches, promotional activities, and brand positioning strategies
*  Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
   *  Monitor the performance of sourced brands, including sales data, customer feedback, and market trends.   *  Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on brand performance and market opportunities.
*  Strategic Planning:
   *  Develop and implement sourcing strategies that support the Oli’s Lab's growth objectives and brand positioning.   *  Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and consumer preferences to adapt sourcing strategies accordingly.
About the right candidate :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)- ability to demonstrate a 3 to 5 years of experience in brand sourcing, buying, or business development within the cosmetics or beauty industry.- Strong understanding of the cosmetics market, including trends, key players, and product categories.- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Analytical mindset with proficiency in using data to drive decision-making.- Ability to travel as needed to meet with brand partners and attend industry events.- Fluency in English is a must for this position- Remote work possible with occasional travel
