We are looking for a seasoned Security Architect in aviation field ✈️


In your role you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security architecture of the organization's platform. This role involves ensuring that security measures are integrated into all aspects of the platform to protect against threats and vulnerabilities. The Security Architect works closely with various stakeholders, including development, operations, and compliance teams, to ensure that security best practices are followed, and regulatory requirements are met.


In the Role of the Security Architect you will:

  1. Be a member of a dynamic team to design and implement a platform for mission critical applications.
  2. Develop and document architectural solutions and designs that incorporate security best practices.
  3. Ensure that security measures are aligned with the overall architectural principles and standards of the organization.
  4. Create high-level and detailed security architecture documentation, including threat models, security controls, and risk assessments.
  5. Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security measures into the overall platform.
  6. Oversee the deployment, configuration, and optimization of security tools and platforms, including HashiCorp Vault and Azure security services.
  7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to implementation and operations teams on security best practices and technologies.
  8. Design and implement IAM solutions to manage user identities, permissions, and roles across the platform.
  9. Ensure robust authentication and authorization mechanisms, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and role-based access control (RBAC).
  10. Manage and optimize Azure Active Directory (AAD) and related services.
  11. Design and implement HashiCorp Vault for secrets management, encryption, and access control.
  12. Develop policies and procedures for the usage and maintenance of Vault.
  13. Implement Azure security services, including Azure Security Center, Azure Key Vault, Azure Policy, and Azure Sentinel.
  14. Ensure compliance with Azure security best practices and guidelines.
  15. Collaborate with the infrastructure project team to align platform security design with the established cloud environment.
  16. Implement and manage security monitoring, detection, and response systems to identify and mitigate threats.
  17. Develop and maintain incident response plans to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.
  18. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and address security weaknesses.
  19. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for security solutions, including architecture diagrams, security policies, and operational procedures.
  20. Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies, features, updates, and industry trends to continually improve the platform's security posture.


Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and implementing security solutions.
  2. Proven experience in architecture and design of secure systems, including identity and access management, encryption, and zero trust network security.
  3. Hands-on experience with security technologies, including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, security information and event management (SIEM), and endpoint protection.
  4. Experience with HashiCorp Vault and Azure security services, such as Azure Security Center, Azure Key Vault, Azure Policy, and Azure Sentinel.
  5. Strong understanding of security architecture principles and best practices.
  6. Proficiency in designing and implementing security controls for cloud environments, particularly Azure.
  7. Experience with IAM solutions, including Azure Active Directory (AAD), MFA, and RBAC.
  8. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for security.
  9. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  11. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  12. Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  13. Relevant security certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or equivalent, are preferred.
