We are currently looking for Group Head - Strategy to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the media mandates for some of the key clients for EssenceMediaCom. In this role, your goals will be:In three months:
  1. You would be expected to have a full understanding of your portfolio of brand/s.
  2. Understand the different stakeholders within the agency and start building relationships with them.
  3. Help your team craft the agency response to the client briefs.
In six months:
  1. Ability to lead strategic & executional discussions with clients.
  2. Understand what is happening with your clients and lead your team in that aspect.
  3. Be visible as the leader of your team within the agency as well as with clients.
  4. Start interacting with our regional agency teams on clients where applicable.
In 12 months:
  1. Lead the annual planning process for our clients.
  2. Be the seamless bridge between local clients & regional/global agency teams.
  3. Converse on measurement metrics across touchpoints based on campaign objectives.
  4. Win awards in both internal and external forums like FOM, Cannes, Smarties, RAMAI, etc.
  5. Drive agency KPIs balanced with client KPIs.
What your day job looks like at EssenceMediaCom:
  1. Based on the client’s strategy, suggest options on the best form of media for specific clients and campaigns.
  2. Initiate and drive quality analysis and cross-category case studies.
  3. Leverage all GroupM learning and capabilities to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
  4. Demonstrate good business acumen.
  5. Responsible for ensuring revenue targets.
  6. Manage the team from a development and delivery perspective on client objectives.
What you’ll bring:
  1. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar setup.
  2. Ability to lead the team with full authority and motivate them during high media activity.
  3. Overcome typical media agency pitfalls and build relationships with team members across planning, buying, operations & finance/billing teams.
  4. Process-driven approach.
  5. Good relationships with media partners.
  6. Strong business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of 360-degree mediums.
