**Missions**:
As a Senior Sushi Chef at Zuma, you’ll play a key role in creating our signature dishes, combining tradition with modern flair. With your expertise and dedication, you’ll contribute to our reputation for delivering unforgettable dining experiences. Join our team for the summer season 2025, please note this position is a seasonal contract (CDD).
Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma Cannes, in the historic Palm Beach. Our luxurious year-round venue plays host to guests attending the many iconic events through-out the year. With a stunning terrace and a multi-format indoor dinning, Zuma Cannes is the go-to location within the South of France. Zuma is proud to be part of the Azumi restaurant collection.

**Main Duties**
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the sushi team by delegating duties effectively, ensuring operational standards, safety, and consistency are upheld
- Oversee food preparation processes, minimizing waste and maintaining control of stock through regular inventory checks and planning
- Ensure the sushi area and all sections of the kitchen are ready for service, demonstrating versatility and leadership across the kitchen
- Estimate food needs accurately and plan orders for perishables and equipment, optimizing resources and minimizing excess
- Maintain high standards for equipment use and handling, reducing breakages and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Support the growth of the sushi team through training, regular performance reviews, and structured onboarding for new members. Provide constructive feedback and updates to the Head Sushi Chef
