INOCEL is a company born from the meeting of the worlds of research, industry, engineering and also adventure with Mike HORN who acted as a catalyst for the project. The company, based at the foot of Grenoble mountains in France, is in a strong growth phase to meet its ambitious objectives. INOCEL has successfully raised its first round of financing, bringing the company's capital to €70M, and aims to reach a staff of more than 100 people by the end of the year
INOCEL's mission is to produce efficient and competitive hydrogen systems on the world market, and thus contribute to the decarbonization of our uses, particularly in stationary, heavy-duty mobility and maritime applications. Protection of the environment is at the foundation of what we do at INOCEL and is the backbone of our company.
INOCEL offers complete turnkey solutions for hydrogen energy chains including innovative low temperature fuel cells. Not only do we have an innovative technology to build our success, but our solutions also include intelligent energy management systems as well as engineering and maintenance services. The goal is to assist industrials in their transition for durable and efficient long-term results. INOCEL's solutions are targeted at mobility, ground transportations and sea applications with a need for sustainability, efficiency, and stationary power generation. Just a couple years down the line, INOCEL will have the capacity to meet the growing demand for mass production of fuel cells by mastering its entire production chain.
For this adventure, INOCEL is looking for a Purchasing project & Commodity Leader.
The successful candidate will have the following missions:
- Conducting strategic product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors based on technical data and specifications.
- Managing with the technical teams the supplier evaluation and selection considering TCOs and risks.
- Negotiating the contracts through the Supply Agreement of Goods (and services) to anticipate the ramp up phasis
- Ensuring the follow up of the supplier performance in terms of cost, quality and deliveries, and organize all corrective actions when deviations (lead time, conformity,…) are detected.
- Manage the communication between the purchasing projects stakeholders.
- Responsible for the commodity of all RFI, RFQ, orders, deliveries and payments.
- Establishing professional relationships with vendors and suppliers to guarantee long term support and strategic collaboration
- The purchasing segment will cover strategic mechanical and electronic components for stack and system Balance of Plant in Fuel Cell technology
- Additional segment in support is requested (equipment, tooling), general expenditures, utilities, and services.
Profile Wanted
- A 5-10 years successful experience in Purchasing high end industrial segment
- Master degree in purchasing, business or a related field.
- Great mastery of English (C1+) and French.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Agility and Ability to work in project teams
- Great organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent networking and time management skills.
