Job Content:
The successful candidate will be a highly skilled specialist with deep product or service knowledge, who can analyze and resolve more complex technical issues and their root causes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Level 1-2 tickets and troubleshooting
- Assess and resolve more complex issues requiring greater specialization (e.g., on architectural design, scalability, efficiency, reliability) Provide solutions covering the full product portfolio
- Manage escalations to to Level-3 support as necessary, which may be Google’s GDCH support team
- Proactively collect requirements and design team processes and work streams as needed to address specific temporary support program needs
- System design, including integration with multiple other system
- Identify large technical problems in existing systems and identify multiple possible solutions
- Develop deep understanding of platform offerings and architecture in order to advise customers on best practices and to assist customer with optimization of their cloud architecture
- Act as a point of contact and subject matter expert between Proximus Luxembourg and Google to resolve technical customer obstacles
- This may include a need to sometimes work non-standard work hours or shifts.
Profile:
Minimum qualifications
- You must meet these minimum qualifications to apply for this job
- 5 years of experience in working with computer systems and computer networks, specifically with the Linux operating system
- Any security clearances required by the country or countries you are supporting
Preferred qualifications
- Having these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable
- Experience with support work
- Experience working directly in a customer-facing role
- Experience in troubleshooting OS, network equipment, and software
- Experience troubleshooting hardware or network related issues using Linux-based tools
- Experience in troubleshooting Kubernetes production environments
- Industry accredited Certification on Cloud technologies
- In-depth knowledge of Cloud services like Compute and Storage
- Experience with Storage technologies (Netapp, etc.)
