About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to play a pivotal role in the design, construction, and maintenance of floating power plants. This full-time hybrid position offers the flexibility of working both in our Paris office and remotely. Some travel may be required.
This is a CDI (permanent) contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop power plants, ensuring structural integrity and efficiency.
- Oversee construction and maintenance efforts, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in naval, marine, civil, or a similar industry, with a proven track record in building water-based structures or as a mechanical engineer.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Proficiency in CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively in both English and French.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
- Familiarity with solar energy technologies is a plus.
