The Embedded Software Engineer joins the Electronics R&D team, a group of 13 professionals responsible for the design, development, and industrialization of HID’s electronic products. This role is responsible for specifying, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded software solutions that meet customer and business requirements. The position contributes to the full product lifecycle, from architecture definition and prototype development through production launch and product maintenance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role helps deliver reliable, high-quality embedded solutions that support innovation and product performance. The successful candidate has a strong technical foundation in embedded software development and a collaborative approach to problem-solving

As Embedded System Engineer, you’ll support Evolis’s successby:
- Supports the development and evolution of embedded software platforms across new and existing product lines.
- Drives software quality initiatives through automation, continuous improvement, and adoption of development best practices.
- Leads technical analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of software-related issues throughout the product lifecycle.
- Supports prototype bring-up, configuration, and validation activities during development and pre-series production phases.
- Collaborates with hardware, software, and industrialization teams to deliver robust and reliable product solutions.
Education and/or Experience
- Engineering degree, Master's degree, or equivalent qualification in Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded software development in C, including internship or apprenticeship experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with embedded Linux environments.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
