You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:
Responsibilities
- Define the overall brand space allocation strategy for Fragrance across European countries, taking into account Sephora’s strategy and business objectives, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including merchandising and brand partnership/negotiations teams.
- Conduct in‑depth analysis to optimize brand allocation by store cluster and/or customer cluster; use data‑driven insights to determine the most effective mix for each store location and customer segment.
- Identify opportunities for brand expansions or rationalization based on performance analysis.
- Work closely with local teams in each country to understand their current processes, engage them in the space allocation strategy, and help them embark on the optimization journey.
- Collaborate with Category Managers to optimize and align on the brands’ exposure and expression in the stores.
- Work with the Merchandising PMO to oversee the development of tools that optimize processes.
- Track and analyze performance metrics, generating reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or Business Economics.
- 4-5 year experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably in a retail merchandising or RGM environment is a plus.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- A structured and problem‑solving mindset.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and findings to stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Fluent in English; French is a strong plus.
