At Capefront, we are currently seeking for several Offshore Method Engineer to start a mission in France and for different project either in Congo or Saudi Arabia.


Required Skills:

  • The scope of the project encompasses the installation of 2 seawater intake structures, one HDPE diffuser, the recovery of 3 MTBM offshore and dredging in coral limestone for a total volume of 10 000m3.
  • In charge of developing the project’s offshore construction methods
  • Works closely with the Design Manager and the Project Construction/Installation Manager to ensure the development of efficient, cost effective and safe installation methods.
  • Analyses the risks associated with each proposed method, actively participates in design, construction and risk reviews
  • Writes/coordinates the method documentation (method statement, procedure, drawings, calculation notes, list of installation aids, etc.)
  • Participation in explanation meetings with clients or partners
  • Ability to propose and adapt
  • Moves on site, for operations


Preferred Skills:

Engineering degree

At least 3 years' experience in a similar position

Operational immediately

Very good interpersonal skills Expertise in: ✓ Heavy load, Offshore and subsea lift ✓ Operations with work barge nearshore ✓ Connection spool pieces installation ✓ Methods or management of installation/offshore operations ✓ Experience in international environment All its background Offshore Oil & Gas industry or Marine intake and outfall structures/pipelines installation Language English mandatory If fluency is a plus: French and / or Arabic


Conditions

  • 18-month assignment
  • 5 months in Cassis, 100% face-to-face (NO REMOTE)
  • 14 months in Saudi Arabia in the Douba region
