Join our clients innovative pharmaceutical team as the Head of Intellectual Property (IP), where you’ll play a crucial role in shaping and protecting the future of our groundbreaking therapies. Their mission-driven company develops long-acting injectable drugs across diverse therapeutic areas, leveraging our unique BEPO® technology to improve patient compliance, expand treatment accessibility, and reduce environmental impact.
What You’ll Do:
Lead IP Strategy: Drive the growth of our IP portfolio, collaborating with R&D and business teams to support cutting-edge technologies and product innovations.
Strategic Guidance: Advise executive leadership on IP risks, opportunities, and competitor trends to ensure alignment with business goals.
Portfolio Management: Oversee patent filings, renewals, and legal strategies, working with external patent attorneys to maximize IP protection.
Empower Innovation: Train teams, set IP policies, and promote IP awareness to embed intellectual property into our company culture.
What You Bring:
Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Pharmaceutical Science; European or US Patent Attorney qualification strongly preferred.
6+ years of IP experience, ideally in pharmaceuticals, with expertise in patent databases and, preferably, drug delivery systems.
Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills to engage and inspire cross-functional teams.
