About the Company:
SOFREGAZ is an international engineering company covering the full spectrum of natural gas, liquid hydrocarbons, new energies such as hydrogen and NH3 and CO2 (Carbone captured utilisation, liquefaction and storage). Furthermore, SOFREGAZ is a worldwide recognized engineering specialist for LNG solutions. SOFREGAZ projects are ranging from conceptual studies, to FEED studies, detailed engineering and small to medium EPCs.
About the Role:
SOFREGAZ looks for a Senior Piping Designer in order to strengthen its teams and take part in international projects. You will be mainly to liaise with piping engineers/project control and management team members ; regarding the external contact & communication, you will liaise with contractors, sub-contractor vendors/suppliers throw piping lead engineer/Project engineer. Reporting to the Head of Piping Department, as part of your specific responsibilities, in the following area, you will :
- Lead 3D activity projects and coordinate internal resources for this specific topic;
- Be responsible for all 3D design in a multi-discipline activity in piping, mechanical and structural design in a project team environment to resolve design or drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives of projects ;
- Prepare all drafting and 3D modeling project procedures and specifications and if required in compliance with client procedures ;
- Ensure schedule compliance for all drawings deliverable and ensure the deliverable verification plan is followed;
- Ensure, for the subcontracted activity, the sub-contactor compliance with the project piping scope of work;

Requirements:
- BS degree in piping engineering or equivalent;
- 10 years detailing and design experience in piping engineering in the oil and gas industry. LNG project experience is a plus;
- Hard skills: Extensive experience in the development of piping engineering drawings: plot pan, equipment layout, piping isometrics, etc;
- Soft Skills: Ease in written & verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, able to report in a consistent and clear manner on work in own area of responsibility, proactive and energetic;
- Languages: Good commend of the English and French languages;
