Join Us.Envu is proud to be Great Place to Work Certified in the U.S., France and India (June 2025 – June 2026) FUNCTION: InnovationLOCATION: Lyon, France (hybrid working)JOB TYPE: Permanent JOB GRADE: 5GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA: The Chemical Product Regulation & Safety Specialist acts as the central point of contact for all chemical composition, product safety and regulatory information, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and high-quality support to Regulatory Managers , innovation teams, ESG, Product Supply and Customers.Provide clear ownership for chemical composition & safety informationStrengthen regulatory compliance and reduce business risksMaintain validated, high-quality product and substance dataImprove cross-functional alignment between RA, Product Stewardship, EHS, QA, Sustainability, R&DYOUR MISSION WILL BE TO: Establish and manage the Single Source of Truth (SSOT) for all chemical composition, regulatory status, and safety dataMaintain verified information related to substances, mixtures, impurities, additives, restricted chemicals, and SVHCsEnsure data integrity across systemsPrepare or coordinate data for:Chemical Safety ReportsPre-approval dossiersSingle point of contact for all product safety and chemical composition questions from customers:Product StatementsRestricted Substance DeclarationsSVHC/Prop 65/CMR statementsChemical responsibility questionnairesSupport internal and external audits related to chemical safety and regulatory compliance.Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement measuresDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for regulatory and safety processesManage third-party relationships and associated technical solutions, including managing communications, resolving issues, and ensuring timely updatesProject coordination to implement changes and manage the release of updated chemical data documentationARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?Main requirements: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, Toxicology, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field5+ years’ experience in chemical regulatory affairs or product safetyStrong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex regulatory requirementsFamiliarity with toxicology, ecotoxicology or risk assessment methodologiesExperience in working within manufacturing or R&D-driven organizationsDeep knowledge and understanding of chemical safety regulations and risk assessment methodologiesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalFluent in English, both written and spoken Envu is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants, regardless of ethnicity, color, race, religion, origin, age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or other conditions.
