He will collaborate closely with the marketing team and the tollers, to design and implement efficient packaging solutions, manage packaging materials, and troubleshoot any packaging-related issues in the production process. YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO: Cross-functional coordination: Liaise with various departments, including marketing and innovation, to align packaging designs with overall business goals and customer expectations Work closely with procurement team to negotiate prices and improve packaging material sourcingQuality control:Ensure that packaging meets both functional and aesthetic quality standardsParticipate to the troubleshooting session with the tollers in case of any issues during the production and provide solutions to maintain packaging qualityRegulatory compliance: Ensure packaging designs and materials comply with all relevant local and international regulations, including safety standards and transportation guidelines. Design & Test Packaging: Create, evaluate, and optimize packaging designs to ensure product integrity during transit and storageConduct packaging certification tests with external laboratories and check the reportsDocumentation: Document packaging processes and specifications for future reference and standards adherence, create the packaging items and BOMMaintain accurate records of packaging specifications, designs, and materialsSustainability & Innovation: Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in packaging technology, materials, and sustainability practicesSupport ESG company initiatives to implement eco-friendly packaging materials and reduce packaging waste ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?Main requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldExperience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in packaging development or management, preferably within a tolling or outsourcing environmentExperience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneouslySkills:Proficiency in packaging design and testing tools, as well as a strong understanding of packaging materials and processesExcellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal, to work effectively with external partners and internal teamsAbility to manage timelines and stakeholder expectationsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to quality assuranceFlexible working hours may be required to meet project deadlinesCertification in packaging design or sustainable packaging practices (e.g., ISTA, SPC) is a plus Envu is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants, regardless of ethnicity, color, race, religion, origin, age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or other conditions.
