Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all operational aspects of the French manufacturing plant.
- Manage and direct a plant of 100+ employees, promoting a culture of teamwork, efficiency, and safety.
- Ensure the plant meets production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Optimize production processes and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Develop strong relationships with local suppliers and stakeholders to ensure a smooth supply chain and timely procurement of materials.
- Collaborate closely with global headquarters to align the plant operations with overall corporate strategies and updates.
- Prepare and manage the plant’s budget, focusing on cost-effective operations without compromising on quality.
- Tackle operational challenges by working closely with technical experts and industry consultants.
Qualifications
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field
- At least 7 years of experience in plant management or a leadership role within the metal manufacturing or automotive production sectors.
- Proven ability to lead production targets to success, manage high-performing teams, and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Experience in negotiating and working collaboratively with unions to maintain harmonious labor relations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in modern manufacturing technologies and lean manufacturing principles.
- Deep understanding of the automotive industry and its production standards and regulations in Europe.
