Contract Length: 12 Months with conversion to permanent after. (Contract to perm)

Full-time contract 8 Hours per day, 5 days per week

Active in the aeronautical industry since 1981, this client specialises in the design, manufacture and maintenance of cabin equipment, as well as chemical interventions on all types of aircraft.

The quality of the services are recognised by ISO9001, EN9100, PART145 and 21G certifications.

As part of the roll-out of our activities in France and internationally, they are looking for a Programme Quality Assurance Engineer.


The main role of the Programme Quality Assurance Engineer is to ensure that the Programme process is applied correctly to all programmes being run on behalf of UUDS, in accordance with regulatory requirements, quality standards and customer expectations.


Responsibilities:


  • Drawing up and implementing the company's Programme quality assurance plan, in collaboration with the Programmes Department and the other departments concerned.
  • Represent the ‘Business’ within the Programmes and the Programmes within the ‘Business’.
  • Act as Programme Quality Coordinator within UUDS
  • Ensure that the Programme Process, milestones and all associated deliverables are applied correctly, from receipt of the order through to completion of the Programme.
  • Acting as the Quality contact for auditors and regulatory authorities (taking part in audits)
  • Manage, lead and monitor the processing of Programme Non-Qualities
  • Leading the Quality approach within the Programmes Department
  • Steering, leading and, if necessary, implementing the actions in the Programme Quality Plan
  • Monitoring Programme quality performance indicators, and reporting regularly on changes in these indicators to Management.
  • Provide feedback and participate in the continuous improvement of the company's Quality processes, by proposing improvement actions and contributing to their implementation.


Skills Required:


  • Higher education in quality, engineering or equivalent.
  • Significant professional experience in the field of quality, ideally in the aeronautical sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of current aeronautical standards and regulations (EN 9100, FAR, etc.).
  • Mastery of quality tools and methods (FMEA, 8D, etc.).
  • Knowledge of APQP
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Ability to work in project mode and to collaborate with different departments within the company.
  • Rigour, organisation, responsiveness and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and to negotiate with them.
  • Fluency in technical English
  • Travel in France and abroad
