GloComms is working with a global IT services client in search of a freelance IT Datacenter Storage Engineer to work hybrid in Paris
I am currently assisting one of the biggest digital vendors in the world in the search for a Datacenter Storage Engineer to be responsible for IT design, implementation, acceptance test, technical management and risk control in key projects in all France region, include cloud, storage, server. As well as this, the E2E delivery of the data center IT integration project.
The client has a firm name in their Market, turning over just short of €500 Million last year. The scope for progression is endless.
- Role: IT Datacenter Storage engineer
- Duration: 12 months (Extendable)
- Location: Paris
- Remote Working - hybrid
- Start Date: September (Flexible)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for IT design, implementation, acceptance test, technical management and risk control in key projects in all France region, include cloud, storage, server.
- Prepare and provide necessary technical documents for customer, such as Project High Level Design, Project Low Level Design, Test Report.
- Cooperate with sales team to meet with customer for clarifying requirements, making technical discussion and IT solution design, make PoC(Proof of Concepts) tests.
- Work closely with the core data team made up of other Data Engineers, Data Scientists
Ideal Profile:
- 2 years or more IT (domain) engineering experience
- Deep knowledge about IT with proven practice experience
- French+English speaking is mandatory, Chinese speaking is prefer
- Experience on configuration, troubleshooting.
