Company Description

Subterrane Ltd. is a deep-tech company based in UK and beyond. Our mission is to unravel the Earth's structure and develop innovative solutions for extractive resource and energy exploration, on and off-planet. With a focus on gravity process and advanced technology, we have created a unique universal language as part of an intellectual property portfolio that has applications across various industries. We are currently working on a 5-year project to develop a licensed global digital mining solution for sustainable diamond deposits, as well as future projects in renewable and nuclear energy. Role Description

This is a contract, hybrid role as a Chief Financial Officer at Subterrane Ltd. As the CFO, you will be responsible for financial planning, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role is primarily based in Paris, with the flexibility to work remotely.


Qualifications

  • Qualified FCA, plus MBA preferable
  • Strong financial planning and analytical skills
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of finance principles, business strategy and practices
  • 20+ years experience working in mining/ resources sector preferable
  • Group role, public, listing and private experience preferable
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in the extractive resource or energy exploration industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Further professional certification (e.g., CPA) is beneficial


Remuneration

  • This is a pre-seed founder role with equity option. Once the opportunity has gained traction and raised ramp funds, the position will be fully salaried with a competitive benefits package.
