Location: 9 Rue Antoine de Saint-Exupery, 77290 CompansReporting Line: Operations ManagerContract Type: CDISchedule: TBD, night shift hours possibly involvedRole SummaryThe Team Leader is responsible for supervising night shift operations at the sorting center. This includes managing parcel flows, resolving exceptions, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role requires hands-on leadership, clear communication, and strong organizational skills to maintain operational discipline and support team performance.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise parcel sorting and rerouting activities during night shiftsManage unplanned parcels and exceptions (e.g., relabeling, missing tracking)Monitor parcel flow and identify anomalies (e.g., parcels without exit trace)Ensure timely departures and adherence to operational proceduresLead and motivate a team of approximately 10 operatorsTrain new staff on core processes: injection, sort route mode, sort parcel modeEnforce safety standards and verify palletization and documentation accuracyReport daily shift performance and issues to the Ops ManagerWorking ConditionsNight shift work in a dynamic warehouse environmentTeam-based operations requiring adaptability and resilienceOpportunity for career progression to permanent contractMust-Have RequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operationsProven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environmentStrong leadership and organizational skillsProficiency in parcel tracking systems and warehouse toolsFluent in French; English is a plusEducation: High SchoolGood-to-Have QualitiesExperience in anomaly management and flow optimizationInitiative, responsiveness, and team spiritAbility to work under pressure and prioritize effectivelyClear and confident communication with cross-functional teams
