We are hiring for one of our clients, a leader company in Oil and Gas sector, a Data Engineer.
Position Based in Nanterre
Main responsibilities:
Being responsible of the deployment of the Engineering Data Warehouse on the project (Master Tag Index, Equipment List, Requisition module…), all adapted to the configuration of the project:
o Understanding of the standard content of the Engineering Data Warehouse
o Analysis of particularities of the project and definition of the configurations to be done (views, mechanisms of check, configurations of imports, definition of export formats and mappings…)
o Configurations of the first level
o Redaction of specifications, clarifications with the team of administrators
o Monitoring the configuration by administrators
o Tests before deployment
o Training of users and preparation of the associated documentation (presentations, user guides) or the accompaniment of users in the use of the tool (first level support, communication)
The presenter will also be included in the data charger. The presenter will be integrated into the Information Management team directed by the Lead Information Management. He will be able to receive instructions within the framework of the coordination of the team made on the Lead, in relation to the activities listed above.
Main Requirements:
- A strong interest in data, mastering databases and handling large volumes of data
- Knowledge of AVEVA ENGINNERING would be a good plus (used as Engineering Data Warehouse), otherwise having worked with other databases (data model, configuration, loading, data quality, etc.)
- Rigorous, responsive, with good interpersonal skills and communication skills, and a good sense of analysis
- Being able to work independently, with good team spirit
- English speaking (good level of written and oral English)
- Good knowledge of Excel is desired.
- Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
- Knowledge of Engineering is a plus.
