Job Description:
We are seeking a Data Manager Energy & Assets, eager to drive contributions to asset efficiency and decarbonization. This pivotal role involves ensuring efficient data collection, accuracy, integrity, and security while supporting strategic decision-making in our sustainability initiatives. He/She will be responsible for developing and implementing standards for managing assets and energy data across the entire group. This role is based in our R&D center in Trappes (78) and requires frequent travels.
Responsibilities:
- Enforce data management policies, standards, and procedures.
- Establish and maintain a robust data governance framework to support the organization’s data strategy, particularly in energy efficiency and decarbonization efforts.
- Ensure the appropriate collection, accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data through regular audits and validation processes.
- Implement data quality improvement initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal security policies.
- Implement and manage data security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Develop and maintain data reporting systems to provide actionable insights for energy efficiency, maintenance and decarbonization projects.
- Work with business units, mine and industrials sites to understand data needs and deliver customized reports and dashboards.
- Lead data initiatives that support the organization’s goals in reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track and analyze data related to energy usage, waste and water consumption and carbon footprint.
Your profile:
- Higher education degree in Computer Science or Data Sciences, Industrial Engineering or Maintenance Engineering with a qualification in data management and analysis or process control. With minimun of 5 years in an industrial environement.
- Experience with visualization and reporting tools (Power BI).
- Certification in data management or equivalent (DAMA CDMP).
- Fluent in English and French.
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and communication skills.
- Experience in project management and ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
