We are looking for a Windchill Administrator for a freelance project in Paris, France. The position is Full-Time (5 days p/week) and Hybrid over an initial duration of 5 Months, plus a likelihood of extensions.


Contractual Details

Location: Paris, France (50% Hybrid)

Duration: 5 Months (plus a high likelihood of extensions)

B2B Freelance / Contract

5 Days Per Week / Full-Time


PLEASE NOTE: We are also looking for a QA Tester AND Windchill Team Lead for the same project


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windchill Administrator to join our team in Paris. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of our PTC Windchill systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

System Administration:

  • Manage and maintain PTC Windchill systems, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and hotfixes to ensure the latest functionality and security.
  • Monitor system performance, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the Windchill environment through regular backups, access controls, and security audits.

User Support:

  • Provide technical support to Windchill users, including troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and resolving problems.
  • Develop and deliver user training materials and conduct training sessions to enhance user proficiency.

Process Improvement:

  • Analyse current Windchill processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement enhancements to improve system efficiency, user experience, and data quality.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, engineering, product development) to ensure smooth system operations and integration.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Windchill Administrator with a strong understanding of Windchill best practices and methodologies.
  • Expertise in Windchill administration tasks, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of database administration (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
