Medical Affairs Manager - Pharma Company
Company overview:
- One of the larger pharmaceutical companies, with offices in over 50 countries globally
- Over 40,000 employees globally, and around 1,000 in their French affiliate
- This affiliate works in various therapy areas including oncology, immunology, ophthalmology, women's health, virology, neurology and others (offering variation and flexibility)
- Lots of exciting pipeline in different countries and verticals
Role overview:
- Support the strategic development and execution of medical plans
- Provide scientific and clinical expertise
- Ensure the appropriate and ethical use of products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (commercial, R&D, regulatory affairs and others)
- Liaison with Healthcare Professionals, Key Opinion Leaders and other Experts in the field
- Attending medical congresses and symposia
- Clinical trials and research support
- You will be working on a new oncology product for the company
- Report to Director of Medical Affairs
You will have:
- M.D, PhD or PharmD in a relevant field
- 4+ years' experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical / biotech industry
- Strong scientific and clinical knowledge in oncology (or similar)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of regulations and industry guidelines (e.g. FDA, EMA, ICH)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- The ability to work in their office just outside of Paris
- The ability to travel for meetings, congresses, events
