A major global technology services provider is seeking an experienced IAM Engineer for a 12-month freelance engagement, with a strong likelihood of extension. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on identity engineering professional who excels in building, integrating, and supporting enterprise-scale IAM solutions within modern, high-security environments.Job Title: IAM EngineerLocation: France – RemoteStart Date: ASAPKey ResponsibilitiesEngineer, configure, and support enterprise Identity & Access Management solutions across the full identity lifecycle.Implement integrations between IAM platforms and enterprise applications, cloud systems, and directory services (AD, Azure AD, LDAP).Build and maintain automation, provisioning logic, workflows, and custom identity processes.Support core IAM functions including onboarding/offboarding, access requests, authentication and authorization flows, and periodic access reviews.Troubleshoot complex IAM issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and ensure platform reliability, performance, and security.Assist in upgrades, enhancements, migrations, and ongoing optimization of IAM technologies.Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and IAM best practices.Collaborate with architects, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable IAM solutions.Requirements5+ years of hands-on experience in Identity & Access Management engineering.Strong foundational knowledge of IAM concepts including RBAC, authentication, authorization, access governance, and provisioning.Experience with major IAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Ping, ForgeRock, Azure AD).Strong technical capabilities with REST APIs, scripting (Python/PowerShell), SQL, and identity protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM).Proven background in large, complex enterprise environments.Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
