Position Summary:

Astronergy is looking for an experienced Senior Channel Sales Manager to lead the growth of our business in France. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding and maintaining relationships with distributors, driving sales growth, and promoting Astronergy's products to increase our market share in the French photovoltaic market.

You will collaborate with technical and marketing teams to support client needs and maximize revenue opportunities across all market segments, including utility-scale projects, C&I PV, and residential solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the PV industry and be capable of developing strategic channel partnerships to enhance Astronergy’s presence in France.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Channel Development: Identify, establish, and expand a network of distributors and channel partners across France.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Drive the implementation of Astronergy’s sales strategy, ensuring the achievement of revenue targets and market expansion goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including installers, contractors, and distributors, to ensure product adoption and sales growth.
  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Actively generate leads, maintain an organized sales pipeline, and track progress using CRM systems.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to provide forecasts and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Event Management: Represent Astronergy Solar at industry trade fairs, conferences, and customer events in France. Coordinate with marketing and technical teams to organize product roadshows, webinars, and client training sessions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and marketing teams align with Headquarter functional teams to ensure product solutions meet market needs and align with customer expectations.


Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the PV industry, with a proven track record in channel sales and partner management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Analytical skills with a data-driven approach to sales forecasting and strategy development.
  • Fluent in French and English (Any additional European language is a plus).
  • Strong customer orientation with a “hunter” mentality, able to identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
