The QA Manager will oversee a team of QA Engineers, develop and deploy the QA manual, and interface with customers during VDA 6.3 audits and ISO certification processes. The QA Manager will also lead supplier audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives to foster a strong quality culture within the organization.
Lead and manage a team of QA Engineers, providing guidance and support.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the QA manual and quality management systems.
- Develop and implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes.
- Foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Conduct supplier audits and manage supplier quality performance.
- Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance product and process quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality practices into product development and manufacturing processes.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators.
- Provide training and mentorship to the QA team on quality methodologies and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality assurance roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies, including APQP, FMEA, and 8D.
