Credit and Collections Analyst EMEA | Pesticides Industry
Manage the credit management activities of EMEA countries at risk across a diverse customer base to support sales increase, accelerate the collection of receivables and manage credit risk exposure to minimize bad debt.
We work with several high-profile clients, startups, and SMEs globally to help them source and retain top-tier talent.
Location: Lyon, France
Bachelor degree in finance or business related discipline required
At least 5 years experience in Finance with credit analysis experience in high-risk countries
Fluent in English (Mandatory)
Knowledge of international commerce techniques (letters of credit), credit and collection laws, bankruptcy process, credit risk evaluation.
Credit risk assessment
Maintaining relations with external parties with regards to payment and political risks, like export private credit insurers, brokers and banks
Developing expertise in relation to credit risk analysis, export finance, credit insurance, letters of credit and (bank) guarantees.
Processes Letters of Credit and their respective amendments.
Ensure that documents, standby letter credit conforms to the requirements. Responsible for the accurate processing of Letter of Credit,
Approve payment terms and define appropriate credit limits
Customer master data: check, validate and update customer master data
Ensure compliance with country legislation and internal credit policy and procedures
Preparation of recurring and ad hoc reports, to provide to the AR Credit & Collection Manager end of month comments and cash forecast
