Title: Beauty and Care Brand Account Manager H/FLocation: Montreuil, FR, 93108Company Name: Univar Solutions SASA Place Where People Matter.Start your career journey with Univar Solutions Here you can make an impact on the world around you and accelerate your career in areas that energize and excite you.In order to accelerate the growth of our Beauty and Personal Care business, an opportunity has arisen for a Brand Account Manager to manage Univar Solutions' relationship with brands, consultants, and customers across France to generate value technical opportunities for our key strategic suppliers.This role will report to the Sales Manager responsible for the CARE (Personal Care and HIC) business and will be responsible for developing a pipeline and growing the business to meet or exceed company growth targets within an agreed customer territory through technical promotion of the portfolio.Main responsibilitiesVisit customers, consultants, and brands, managing and actively seeking new opportunity projects, creating effective relationships and account ownership on a technical and marketing level.Build and maintain an opportunity pipeline that is aligned with business objectives of Beauty & Personal Care from a technical perspective working alongside local sales and product teams to ensure high-opportunity projects get delivered on time.Penetrate and grow project-driven growth, by leading with key supplier initiatives and leveraging Univar Solution Centres.Work closely with customers, consultants, and brands to better understand trends providing formulations and strong technical support to develop exclusive and innovative products.Support the customer's R&D department at a technical level including preparing technical presentations on cosmetic formulations.Support new product launches working together with suppliers' technical team and influencing positively the relationship between Univar and suppliers.Provide sales and product management teams with technical support on specific product lines projects.Represent suppliers and exchange market information effectively between the main trading partners, maintaining compliance standards.Keep the CRM system up to date, generating "Target Business Opportunities" that ensure growth.Continuously monitor market share by mapping trends, technology, regulatory changes, and competitor activity.Respond quickly and proactively to new market segments and applications with a focus on Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Product Development.Connect and communicate to ensure all relevant industry data acquired including market information is used and shared effectively within Univar.Promote and follow up on all samples in a timely manner.The ideal profile has:Degree in cosmetic sciences, chemistry, and pharmaceutical technology or in the chemical field.Knowledge of the practical application of cosmetic formulation.Knowledge of the application of principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment for the design and production of various cosmetic goods.Knowledge of the personal care and reference raw materials market.Excellent communication skills and ability to explain in technical terms at an appropriate level.Strong goal-oriented orientation.Strong motivation, desire to get involved, curiosity, enthusiasm, open-mindedness, and ability to work in a local and international context.Willingness to travel and hold a French driving license.Fluency in English and French.Where you'll work: FranceUnivar Solutions is a leading, global distributor of chemicals and ingredients essential to the safety, health, and wellbeing of our daily lives - from life-saving medicines and vitamins to hand sanitizers and industrial materials used for cleaning, construction, and more.
