We are looking for an Assistant Logistics Manager based in Île-de-France (IDF) to support and work closely with the Logistics Manager in managing end-to-end local logistics operations.

The role combines hands-on operational execution, logistics planning, service provider management, issue resolution and process improvement, with a particular focus on large home appliance delivery and Instal-lation (“white-glove”) services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Local Logistics Operations & Planning
- Support the Logistics Manager in managing local logistics operations, including customs clearance, warehousing, last-mile distribution, parcel delivery and large home appliance white-glove delivery and Instal-lation services.
- Coordinate closely with logistics service providers to ensure all logistics requirements are fulfilled on time, in full and according to agreed service levels.
- Support daily/weekly logistics planning, including order planning, delivery capacity, manpower and vehicle requirements, including white-glove operations.
- Monitor and manage the PSI / planning activities of assigned logistics operations and ensure sufficient operational capacity to meet business demand.
- Follow up closely with logistics partners on operational execution and proactively identify potential capacity or service risks.
2. Logistics Provider Management & Performance Tracking
- Coordinate with logistics service providers on daily operations and ensure proper execution of agreed processes and SLAs.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance, including delivery performance, customer complaints, open/pending orders, parcel loss or damage, failed deliveries and Instal-lation issues.
- Investigate operational issues with suppliers, identify root causes, drive corrective actions and ensure issues are properly closed.
- Maintain clear tracking and reporting of logistics incidents, operational performance and KPIs.
3. White-Glove Delivery & Reverse Logistics
- Manage and follow up on large home appliance delivery and Instal-lation services, including appointment scheduling, delivery coordination, Instal-lation, customer communication, failed delivery and service recovery.
- Coordinate with service providers to resolve customer complaints, delivery damages, Instal-lation issues and other after-sales logistics problems.
- Assist in managing returns, claims, damaged goods, exchanges and scrap handling.
- Ensure proper coordination between warehouses, carriers, Instal-lation teams, customer service and other relevant functions.
4. Inventory Control & Operational Accuracy
- Work with warehouses and logistics partners to ensure inventory accuracy and consistency between system records and physical stock.
- Follow up on stock discrepancies, lost/damaged products and reverse logistics movements.
- Ensure timely and accurate system updates throughout the logistics process.
5. Process Optimization & Execution
- Identify inefficiencies and operational risks in warehousing, transportation and last-mile delivery processes.
- Propose practical improvement plans to improve service quality, operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- After approval, take ownership of implementation follow-up and ensure corrective actions are effectively executed.
- Support the Logistics Manager in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, last-mile delivery or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with large home appliance delivery and Instal-lation / white-glove services is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of logistics operations and basic planning and capacity management skills.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and MS Office; experience with WMS / TMS systems is a plus.
- Driving license preferred, as warehouses and logistics sites are mainly located in the Paris suburbs.
- Fluent in Chinese and French, both spoken and written; English is a plus.
