We are seeking an experienced French Payroll Consultant to join an international client on a freelance basis. This is an operational payroll role requiring deep expertise in French payroll legislation, with the ability to hit the ground running.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end processing and compliance of French payroll, working closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and full legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage monthly payroll processing for French employees
- Ensure full compliance with French labour laws, tax, and social contributions
- Liaise with HR, finance, and external partners to resolve payroll issues
- Reconcile payroll data, manage reporting and audits
- Stay current with changes in French payroll legislation
- Support year-end processes, declarations, and documentation
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in operational French payroll
- Expert knowledge of French payroll laws, tax, and compliance requirements
- Hands-on experience with Alicia, or alternatively SAP or ADP payroll systems
- Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote setting
- Strong attention to xuezdbg detail, reliability, and communication skills
- Immediate availability to start (within 1 week max)
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a multinational or shared services environment
- Knowledge of international mobility or expatriate payroll (a plus)
