Responsible for his/her purchasing categories and referent of his/her markets for the purchasing community, his/her internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Pro-active member of the MH Purchasing Community, this role reports to the IT & Intellectual Services Global Sourcing Manager.
Propose and apply the world purchasing strategy for the category(ies) he/she manages, for the entire scope covered by the MH Purchasing Department,Guarantee that suppliers meet the financial, quality and timing objectives set for the products / services within his/her portfolio,Embody a business partner behavior with Group Information System department, main internal customer; promote purchasing activities and participate to all major IT projects.
Build and manage optimal supplier relationship, considering internal and external requirements,Monitor budgets for his/her portfolios and manage supplier activity,Play an active role in the MH Purchasing Community by being part of transversal initiatives.
Job ResponsabilitiesPrepares a detailed market(s) analysis, including threats and opportunities, and identifies new local or international suppliersImproves his/her economic and technological knowledge of his/her categoriesAnticipates future trends by conducting innovation watch activities, and reports back on his/her findingsAnalyses his/her portfolio and lists all requirements of the various MH EntitiesProposes, obtains approval and roll-out the corresponding purchasing strategy, and proposes changes to this strategy when requiredImplements an end-to-end purchasing process autonomously for the new products / services of his/her category(ies), ensure respect of purchasing procedures. xuezdbg Conducts negotiations on an autonomous basis for re-occuring products/services, continuously identifies and oversees cost reduction plan with internal stakeholdersImplements a relevant contractual framework with his/her key suppliers and adopts a TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) approach with themFollow his/her activity in autonomy and takes the necessary actions to achieve the expected resultsIs proactive in proposing key transversal projects for the purchasing organisationInforms the Purchasing Community of the significant changes in his/her supplier marketsIs responsible for SRM and the monitoring and achievement of the CSR objectives of its suppliersParticipates to LVMH group coordination, sharing information and being part of global group IT projects.
