An IT Infrastructure Services (ITIS) Solution Architect is responsible for designing end-to-end managed infrastructure solutions across cloud, workplace, network, and data center domains. The role acts as the design authority in presales and transformation programs, ensuring scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions aligned to client business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Ownership

  • Own end-to-end ITIS solution architecture (scope, services, transition, operations)
  • Act as design authority, ensuring alignment across towers and SMEs
  • Maintain solution integrity and governance across RFP/RFI lifecycle

2. Architecture & Service Modeling

  • Define Target Operating Model (TOM), service catalog, and delivery framework
  • Design ITIL-based service processes (incident, change, problem, service request)
  • Establish tooling landscape (ITSM, automation, observability, endpoint mgmt.)

3. Multi-Tower Technical Architecture

  • Lead architecture across:
  • Cloud & Compute (AWS/Azure/GCP, hybrid environments)
  • End User Services / Workplace (M365, Intune, VDI/DaaS)
  • Network (SD-WAN, SASE, LAN/WAN)
  • Data Center & Backup
  • Security (Zero Trust, SOC, identity & access)
  • Ensure integrated, scalable, and secure service design

4. Transformation & Transition

  • Define transition strategy (due diligence, migration, knowledge transfer)
  • Drive transformation roadmap (automation, consolidation, cost optimization)
  • Manage risks, assumptions, and dependencies xuezdbg (RAID)

5. Client Engagement & Presales

  • Lead solutioning for RFP/RFI responses and client discussions
  • Translate business requirements into technical and commercial solutions
  • Support orals, deal shaping, and stakeholder alignment

6. Governance, SLAs & Commercial Alignment

  • Define SLAs/KPIs and experience metrics (XLAs)
  • Align architecture with pricing models and cost structures
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and contractual obligations
