We are looking for our future **Environmental Project Manager (H/F)** with a focus on circular economy based in **Obernai (Alsace) or Blieskastel (Saarland)** with a permanent contract.
**Your tasks**
As Environmental Sustainability Project Manager (H/F) you manage projects with a positive environmental impact across Hager Group, with a focus on circular economy. You also ensure the smooth execution of the Hager Group environmental sustainability commitment (Blue Planet Commitment) across functions and will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Monitor and report about the execution of the Blue Planet Commitment.
- Advise functions on environmental impact of products and operations, along with supporting them in solving operational challenges and roadblocks.
- Structure and lead cross-functional projects aiming to improve the environmental impact of Hager Group operations, products and services.
- Develop Hager’s commitment to circular economy, including scouting potential partners and innovations to accelerate adoption of circular economy.
- Launch pilot projects in order to spread environmental know-how across Hager.
- Coach and train colleagues to circular economy principles.
**Your profile**
You have a master’s degree in engineering, eco-design, environmental science, climate science, biodiversity or similar. You already acquired a broad experience as a program or project manager in the fields of (environmental) sustainability, circular economy, carbon accounting or similar and recognize yourself in the following description:
- Excellent knowledge in environmental sustainability and circular economy
- Profound experience in program/project management
- Strong innovative mindset and curiosity
- Demonstrated communication skills
- Ability to influence and to motivate internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in an international environment and interact with various cultures and transversal environments
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning
- Fluent proficiency in English as well as good knowledge of German or French.
