Our research and consulting services focus on gathering evidence, analyzing results, increasing understanding, and providing greater clarity to help reveal the benefits, risks, value, and potential of our client’s products. Our various practice areas include: Market Access and Outcomes Strategy, Patient-Centered Outcomes Assessment, Health Economics, Pharmacoepidemiology, Biostatistics, Surveys and Observational Studies, and Health Preference Assessment.
We are currently seeking a project manager to support expansion of our Lyon Office for real-world evidence (RWE) project set-up and data collection services worldwide. As part of the Surveys and Observational Studies team, you will be responsible for a range of activities associated with the management and delivery of RWE studies including development and management of study deliverables, coordination of client, management of vendors, and internal team communication. The position requires experience in prospective (e.g., surveys, registries, observational studies) and retrospective (e.g., medical record abstraction) study designs, with demonstrable experience conducting such studies worldwide.
**Responsibilities**:
For multi-countries prospective and retrospective studies:
- Provide support on study material design
- Identify, assess, and resolve issues on projects, and escalate concerns to senior management appropriately.
- Set-up and coordinate vendors/partners (translation, recruitment, interviewing, transcript, reward/incentive, ethics, etc.)
- Support regulatory submission processes for our observational studies in Europe
- Oversee data collection activities, notably CRA coordination and/or site monitoring
- Support data management activities from the project team perspective (test data collection system, participate in data management plan design and data validation cleaning process)
- Possibly participate in cognitive pre-test and qualitative interviews (moderation or notetaking)
**Qualifications**:
- Undergraduate or Master’s level degree (or equivalent) in a research or health-related area.
- At least 2 years’ experience working in health research area (CRO, industry, academic research setting, or other) in coordinating and managing projects and/or vendors
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in health-related clinical research or market research
- Effective communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills) in a cross-functional collaborative environment.
- English proficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
The following skills would be a plus:
- Knowledge and experience in data protection and ethics processes requirements, especially in Europe
- Experience in cognitive pre-test and qualitative interviews
- Other language proficiency (e.g. German, Italian, Spanish )
