**Job Description Summary**: Drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. Select suppliers through qualification processes. Own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. The Senior Technical Leader - Supplier Quality - Offshore Wind will work closely with Offshore Wind Sourcing, Design Engineering, Product Service Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management and Installation team, and the Global Supplier Quality team on all activity required to effectively support supplier quality requirements for assigned wind turbine commodities and suppliers. Focus will be on offshore mechanical (e.g., cooling systems, brakes, drives, ducting, service lifts and cranes). In this role, you will:
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Develop and lead Qualification plans, process / product verification efforts, quality system audits and supplier surveillance program.
- Lead process improvement efforts using GE Renewable Energy Quality systems, tools and procedures to drive process quality improvements and leverage statistical tools for evaluation of process capability on critical-to-quality (CTQ) part / component characteristics.
- Participate in supplier technical offer reviews meetings, approval process and internal NPI (New Product Introduction) process.
- Assure quality through approval of Manufacturing Process Plan (MPP), Product and Process Quality Plan (PQP), product quality reviews, verification of quality documentation, monitoring of compliance and qualification completion.
- Address Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reduction based on customer, assembly shop and site feedback and incorporate key customer critical-to-quality parameters in supplier processes
- Ensure quality consistency and reduce variation in processes through First Piece Qualification, pilot lot approvals during 0-Series with ongoing serial production and Production Part Approval, targeting zero escaping defects.
- Coordinate initiation and resolution of Supplier Deviation Requests (SDR’s), material substitutions and quality control reviews on non-conformances at supplier facility and/or wind farm sites.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis) for process improvement, and preventive / corrective action as required.
- Audit to ensure compliance on global Supplier Quality and Sourcing processes, promoting APQP4Wind disciplines.
- Assist SQEs and key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence. Serve as best practice/quality resource, contributing towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
- Lead read-across global activities, prior failure analysis (PFA) update and special programs as assigned.

- Participer aux réunions de revue des offres techniques des fournisseurs, ainsi qu'au processus de validation et au processus interne d'introduction de nouveaux produits (NPI)
- Garantir la qualité par le biais de la validation du plan du processus de production (Manufacturing Process Plan - MPP), du plan Qualité du produit et du processus (Product and Process Quality Plan - PQP), des revues de qualité du produit, de la vérification de la documentation relative à la qualité, du contrôle de la conformité et de la finalisation de la qualification
- Traiter les questions relatives à la réduction du coût dû à la mauvaise qualité (COPQ) en se basant sur les commentaires des clients, de l'atelier de montage et des sites, et intégrer les critères de qualité des clients dans les processus fournisseurs
- Veiller à ce que le niveau de qualité reste constant, et limiter les variations de la qualité dans les processus par le biais de la qualification de la première pièce et de validations de lot pilote sur la série 0 avec des approbations continues des pièces de production et de la production en série, afin d’atteindre l’objectif du zéro défaut passé inaperçu
- Coordonner l'émission et la résolution des demandes de dérogation du fournisseur, des substitutions de matériel et des revues de contrôle qualité pour les non-conformités observées
