Join us as Software Engineer in the Advanced Maintenance Analytics team based in Saint Ouen, France.

As a part of its predictive maintenance solution, Alstom Services Advanced Maintenance Analytics aims to offer tools and state-of-the start solutions to manage the health of rolling stock and signaling equipment to detect degradation and provide a diagnosis to maintenance teams.

**PURPOSE**

Your purpose will be:

- Contribute to the industrialization and the deployment of our AMA solution
- Partner with our experts to create a cohesive working environment driven by innovation

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Execute full software development lifecycle (Agile)
- Write well-designed, testable code
- Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
- Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
- Comply with project plans and industry standards
- Ensure software is updated with latest features

**REQUIRED COMPETENCES**

**Mandatory**

Engineering degree in computer science, software engineer or equivalent

**EXPERIENCE**

**Mandatory**:

- 5 to 7 years of experience with a software vendor, IT service provider or digital player.
- Proven work experience as a Software Engineer/Developer
- Ability to develop in Java, Python or other programming languages
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL
- Experience with test-driven development
- Proficiency in software engineering tools
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Linux environment.
- Ability to document requirements and specifications
- Fluent in English.

**Desirable**:

- Additional language (French is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of Model serving.
- Experience of Cloud providers like Microsoft Azure or AWS, including security and VPN
- Experience of Machine Learning in Python.
- Knowledge of Design Patterns
- Good knowledge of Micro Services architecture

**SKILLS**
- Technical person, problem solver with good communication skills
- Data management life cycle and quality process
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting
- Database optimization and procedure writing
- MLOps tool is a plus
- Data version control
- Devops and agile development process
