As Group Operations Controlling Manager, she/he will report directly to the Group Brand Companies & Operations Controlling Director, part of the broader Group Business Performance team. Integrated into a 4 people team, she/he will be leading the monitoring of Operations performance thanks to a deep sense of analysis, an understanding of Business challenges, a participation to Group strategic projects, and a good ability to present to the Top management. The overarching objective is to support the Group value creation strategy by enhancing profitability (P&L and Cash).
- Roles and responsibilities:

- Mission 1: Group Operations performance monitoring (P&L & Cash)
- Be the Finance business partner of Group Operations teams
- Lead the bundling of all Operational Excellence initiatives into a multi-year margin improvement program, in close coordination with Operations and Finance teams
- Monitor existing Operational Excellence initiatives and constantly capture new opportunities
- Refine the tracking/reporting processes and the governance (incl. best practices sharing)
- Improve communication to Top Management
- Coordinate the analysis of the Group Operations performance (Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, S&R)
- Leverage Operations reporting process (“Opus”) and Operations teams’ expertise
- Identify improvement action plan with the support of Operations teams
- Prepare bi-annual COMEX report
- Lead Cash reporting and presentation to Top Management with regards to CAPEX and maturing inventories, in coordination with Affiliates Operations Finance and Group Operations teams, including actual and forecasted performance
- Attend direct affiliates’ bi-annual Operations Performance reviews
- Participate actively to Operations functional seminars
- Mission 2: Group COGS performance monitoring
- Help Management in monitoring the Group COGS performance for planning, rolling forecast and actual, in close coordination with Operations teams
- Be responsible for consolidating data
- Challenge affiliates' assumptions at Planning and Rolling Forecast build up
- Present analysis output to Group CFO
- Prepare presentations to top management (EX-COM, Board, etc.) and back up for financial communications
- Lead the standard costing process (from planning and instructions to final presentation for Top Management)
- Work closely with Business analysis and Operations teams to ensure strong connection between Operations issues and financial impacts
- Anticipate future production trends leveraging Connect (replenishment planning tool) and build monthly reporting
- Animate Operations Controlling Community within the Group (Operations controller calls / seminars)
- Mission 3: Participation in transversal projects
- As the finance stakeholder of key Group Operations initiatives, coordinate some Strategic Projects such as the industrial footprint review
- Ensure coordination with local CFOs and VP Ops
- Build business cases in coordination with Affiliates
- Prepare presentations for Sponsors’ meetings
- Be the Operations finance stakeholder in all Finance 4.0 initiatives (S&OP, Polaris, Beyond Budgeting ) and on Operations related topics towards other departments (e.g., audit, communication, M&A, S&R)
- Perform ad hoc analyses to facilitate decision making process

Profile required:

- Education required: Engineer's school/ Business school/ Equivalent University Degree
- Language required: English, French
- Work experience required:

- Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience (if possible in the CPG sector)
- Consulting / External Audit is a plus
