Fondé en 2011, Amplitude Studios est un studio indépendant spécialisé dans les jeux de stratégie. Le studio est actuellement basé à Paris et compte aujourd'hui plus de 180 personnes venant des quatre coins du monde.
Nous sommes aussi connus pour la série des jeux Endless, qui compte des millions d’adeptes, ainsi que pour Humankind, notre jeu de stratégie historique.
Le lien entre Amplitude et sa communauté est au cœur de la philosophie du studio, et les équipes sont fières de collaborer main dans la main avec leurs joueur-euses. C’est dans cet esprit qu’Amplitude a lancé le Games2Gether, une approche innovante de co-développement, permettant de s'impliquer au plus près du processus de création des jeux

Amplitude is a team of experienced, quality driven video game lovers and creators of the finest strategy games with the help of our players Founded in 2011, we are a French indie studio with a team of over 180 developers based in Paris with an international team hailing from all over the world.
We’re well known for our critically acclaimed Endless series, played by millions worldwide, and for Humankind, our historical strategy game.
Our close relationship with the community is a core feature of the studio’s philosophy. We’re proud of the way we create games together with our players via Games2Gether, our custom-built community platform that enables our community to play a key role in the creation of our games at every stage of development.
Games2Gether is the community platform for Amplitude (Amplifiers) and has also been adopted by other studios such as Relic Entertainment, Creative Assembly, or Pullup Entertainment.

Nous recherchons un.e Project Art Director pour participer à la conception de nos jeux de stratégie (sous Unity).
Sous la supervision de notre Studio Art Director, vos principales missions seront les suivantes:
- Définir et superviser la vision artistique du jeu, du concept à l'écran.
- Encourager, accompagner et encadrer l'équipe artistique dans l'optique d'offrir la meilleure expérience joueurs possible.
- Garantir la vision artistique du jeu en fournissant un feedback clair, constructif et régulier à l'équipe.
- Veiller à la fois sur l'esthétique, mais aussi sur l'efficacité du contenu et de la production
- Communiquer clairement avec toutes les équipes (internes ou externes) travaillant sur le projet.

We are looking for a Project Art Director to create games (Unity) that are visually stunning and impactful.
Under the supervision of the Studio Art Director, your main responsibilities will include:
- Shape and oversee the artistic vision of the game from concept to screen.
- Encourage, lead and mentor the art team to deliver the best player experience possible
- Guarantee the art vision for the project by providing clear, constructive and regular feedback to the team
- Focus on both aesthetics and efficiency of content and content production
- Communicate clearly with every team (internal or external) working on the project
**Expérience requise**:
- 10 ans d’expérience minimum sur un poste similaire ou équivalent
- Vous avez participé à au moins une production en tant que lead/manager.
- Excellente compréhension des principes artistiques fondamentaux - anatomie, théorie des couleurs, éclairage, composition, architecture.
**Profil recherché**:
- Maîtrise de l'anglais
- Capacité à exceller dans l'ensemble des tâches artistiques
- Solide connaissance du dessin traditionnel
- Sens de l'éclairage, de l'anatomie et de la composition
- Expert en Photoshop, des connaissances en 3D, Blender, Zbrush sont considérées comme un atout.
- Forte créativité et capacité à faire preuve d’imagination dans la résolution des problèmes
- Capacité à travailler efficacement au sein d'une équipe et à interagir avec une grande variété de profils (développeurs, communauté de joueurs...)

- Excellent understanding of artistic fundamentals - anatomy, colour theory, lighting, composition, architecture
