ROLE
Within the institutional relations Department of the CMA CGM Group, a global leader in container shipping, in our Paris offices, you will work on public affairs and external relations of the Group. In this role, you will assist the members of the department in their daily missions. You will have a versatile role that will also involve implementing actions to enhance the CMA CGM Group's reputation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You prepare and follow up on meetings with parliamentarians, professional organizations such as Armateurs de France and the French Maritime Cluster, French and European administrations. You also write notes for these stakeholders.
- You conduct legal and regulatory monitoring on certain texts and current topics.
- You assist the institutional team in addressing new challenges for the Group, such as the maritime Fontenoy or the European Green Deal.
- You produce summary notes on the Group's strategy in mainland France and overseas, particularly in the areas of ecological transition, economic and port development, and maritime safety/security.
- You contribute to informing Group leaders about political, economic, and social news and government actions in the maritime transport and logistics sector.
- In collaboration with members of the institutional relations department, you may be required to produce internal communication materials (newsletters, maps) or external materials (information notes, position papers).
PROFILE AND SKILLS
A graduate of an Institute of Political Studies or holder of a Master's degree in Communication/Public Affairs, you ideally have previous experience in these fields, which has allowed you to develop a good understanding of stakeholders and institutional issues.
You have good writing skills, speak fluent French and English, and have proficiency in office tools.
As a people person, you adapt your communication style tactfully and diplomatically according to your interlocutors. Organized and autonomous, you know how to make yourself available. Your responsiveness and curiosity will enable you to succeed in this mission.
