**Role purpose-**

The Visual Merchandising Coordinator will oversee the execution of global VM guidelines across all signature stores and counters located in Southern Europe, including France, Belgium, and The Netherlands. This includes retail campaigns, merchandising, and balancing our creative standards with retail expectations.

The Visual Merchandising Coordinator will be responsible for communicating information that is critical to the success of the visual merchandising displays and providing training to the retail teams, ensuring the Aesop visual language is consistently maintained across all doors.

We are looking for an in-depth passion for visual communications and a sharp design eye to produce and amend both print and digital formats.

This role will follow the company guidelines as provided reporting into the Senior Visual Merchandising Manager, EMEA. You will be required to travel, working across multiple large-scale projects from concept to installation phase.

**This is a full-time role, located in Paris**

**Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to -**
- Maintain a portfolio of stores, including general VM standards and campaign displays
- Work to administer the procurement, creation, installation, and delivery of props for visual merchandising of all relevant stores and counters within allocated budget
- Collaborate with the Retail, Marketing and Creative to ensure the presentation of stores and counters is in line with company standards and visual guidance is provided in a timely manner
- Develop a three-dimensional understanding of each space, its design principles, and constraints, ensuring VM adjustments are made to create interest
- Communicate VM movements, prop rotation and dates to all necessary parties in a timely manner
- Support the Visual Merchandising Manager Europe by creatively driving the production and delivery of assets across all Aesop channels
- Oversee the safe storage and reconciliation of VM props between usage
- Ensure all VM display items are maintained to high standards at all times
- Participate with the wider VM team EU to share best practices and prototyping
- Monitor success of VM displays, collect feedback, and react accordingly, analyse impact and ROI when relevant and share findings with stakeholders
- Proactively present and escalate highly creative ideas and suggestions to ensure continuous improvement
- Strong execution and implementation of merchandising and/or creative planograms/directives
- Assist with special projects as required

**What we are looking for -**
- 3+ years’ experience within a commercial, retail, interior space
- An appreciation and understanding of Aesop’s aesthetic and approach to visual merchandising as well as the aptitude and proven ability to adapt these to suit our unique portfolio of stores
- Exceptional skills using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your eye for detail across multiple platforms (physical, mobile, tablet, web, app)
- Superb attention to detail and meticulousness in visual merchandising execution or interior styling
- The ability to communicate detailed visual concepts both verbally and graphically
- Experience styling and documenting interior spaces for social media purposes
- Capacity to adopt a sustainable approach and ability to complete tasks within set timeframes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with key stakeholders to achieve optimal results
