Process Engineer dedicated to losses reduction
**DIVISION**: COTY Luxury
**LOCATION**: Chartres Plant
Chartres plant is THE Coty luxury fragrance site. Based at 1 hour from Paris, in the center of Cosmetic Valley, Chartres factory is a place of choice to develop, industrialize and produce luxury fragrances. Chartres plant produces every year 65 millions units and is engaged in a 3 years growth and renovation journey with an inspiring ambition: Making “Chartres Le Luxe par Excellence” an effective reality and our pride.
**ROLE AND DEPARTMENT**: Process Engineer in Production Department
We’re looking for a Process Engineer to join our Production Department team.
Your position as Process Engineer is the first level of Production management and the entry point in production for young engineers.
You are responsible to improve performance relative to losses, to develop a zero loss mindset and to set Chartres factory as benchmark for losses reduction.
You will develop manufacturing excellence approaches and develop operators capabilities in order to deliver these improvements in accordance with safety and quality standards.
RESPONSABILITIES
**In this role you will be responsible for**: Mapping materials flows and losses Performing materials balances to highlight losses Using manufacturing excellence tools to analyze and understand materials losses Defining and managing an action plan to reduce losses through process improvement and people engagement Developing some Kaizen event to engage and develop people and collaboration between operations and support departments Communicating internally and externally about the progression of the program and the results
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong knowledge in problem solving, data collection, process improvement and an entrepreneurial mindset.
**Key requirements**:
BS Degree in Engineer
Essential skills
Fluency in English required Basic knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, automation, electricity Basic knowledge of Manufacturing excellence tools (5S, Smed, Control cards, Pareto, Ishikawa, 5 why,) Methodical, organized, rigorous, you have a sense of prioritization Autonomous, you know how to be proactive and connect with the adequate interlocutors You have good interpersonal skills and an aptitude for teamwork
