ICC is looking for a Global Marketing and Communications intern to develop skills in writing, media relations, photography and video production, for a 6-month internship.

As the institutional representative of over 45 million businesses in more than 170 countries, the International Chamber of Commerce operates with a core mission to “make business work for everyone, every day, everywhere”.

We act as the primary voice of the real economy in a range of intergovernmental organisations - from the World Trade Organization to the UN climate process - championing the needs of local business in global decision making.

The convening power of our global network enables us to set rules and standards that facilitate over $17 trillion dollars in trade each year - as well as providing tailored products and digital services that directly address the real challenges faced by businesses operating internationally.

We also provide the world’s premier private global dispute resolution services, leveraging ICC’s unique independence, integrity, and expertise.

We are currently seeking a **Global Marketing and Communications** **intern for a 6-month period**, providing an opportunity to develop skills in writing, media relations, photography and video production. The intern will work directly with a broad range of international communications experts in design, PR, social media, web development and more.

**The role**

Tasks include:

- Assist in the creation of the weekly newsletter
- Support social media activities and web content development and publication
- Support media activities and research media contacts
- Conduct research to support global communications campaigns
- Maintain cross-departmental and content planning calendars
- Assist with in-house video recordings and photography

**Requirements**:

- Native English speaker or equivalent with an ability to communicate in French. Other languages a plus
- Media savvy; knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and photography skills a plus
- Good understanding of social media platforms
- Preference will be given to students studying an area related to communications or looking to develop a career in that field
- Team spirit and generous attitude
- Autonomous, dynamic, and proactive

**Important information**:

- Nationals from outside the European Union or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, or Switzerland must secure the relevant visa from the French consulate. Interns are also required to manage their own travel/accommodation arrangements for the duration of their stay. ICC does not offer scholarships/fellowships for interns.
- The 6-month internship programme is full-time, and the average working week is 35 hours.
- The intern will receive a monthly gratification of approximately €750 gross + meal vouchers + partial compensation (70%) of public transport costs.
