**Description**:** Corteva Crop Protection** strategy fosters the implementation of 4PLs at regional and global level. A 4PL (fourth-party logistics) is a logistics model in which a company outsources its supply chain and logistics management to one external service provider. Unlike third-party logistics (3PL) providers who oversee part of the supply chain operations, a 4PL provider is usually the single point of contact for supply chain management. They have a broad scope of responsibilities that includes managing resources, technology, infrastructure, and providingstrategic insights. The 4PL provider acts as a consultant or middleman, managing the relationship with different logistics providers and overseeing the coordination of the logistics agents (carriers and warehouses). The goal of a 4PL is to streamline logistics processes, optimize the supply chain, provide customer solutions and reduce cost.

An opportunity to implement a 4PL model has been identified for both Primary and Secondary Distribution in Europe. Primary Distribution scope includes all the shipments from Corteva production plants to the Secondary Distribution network of warehouses and on some occasions directly to customers. Secondary Distribution scope relates to the 3rd party local warehouses activities and the distribution to customers. The Secondary Distribution network is comprised of more than 40 warehouses and carriers in 25 countries across Europe. A 4PL has been recently awarded the contract and a pilot project has been just kicked off in a country.

**Your mission will be**:

- Act as project manager responsible to implement the 4PL solution in the Secondary Distribution in one or several warehouses/countries in Europe.
- Lead meetings with Corteva functions (Procurement, Supply Chain Logistics, Customer Service, Commercial) to collect service requirements for the country/countries involved and share them with the 4PL implementation team.
- Lead meetings as Corteva focal point with the 4PL implementation team.
- Document process and establish KPI's (key performance indicators).
- Measure project progress and update regularly Corteva project sponsors.
