**Commercial Manager South-West Europe**

**Your contribution**

Being the senior leader of the South-West region directly responsible for supporting local initiatives as driver and ambassador, pro-actively initiating and supporting employee engagement activities through effective coaching and engagement

You will be responsible for the commercial execution of deals and contracts

You will build tactics and formulate sales plans to achieve regional business and financial growth objectives

You will develop and implement key accounts plans for selected local key accounts

You will actively work with Sales and Service Managers/Leaders to develop appropriate support plans and enhance Customer Satisfaction. Optimally collaborate, share knowledge and develop, train and attract talents

Responsibilities will include
- Motivate with confidence, motivation, decisiveness, flexibility, sound business judgment
- Strong ability to communicate and understand the needs of internal and external clients
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to launch and deliver multiple projects on time
- Ability to mesh well with the existing management by being a good listener, team builder and articulate/advocate the vision
- Develop succession capability and build talent funnels to ensure growth objectives to create an environment of high engagement and performance.
- Partner with key functional areas and align strategies which help solidify the performance and reliability of Tecan products and solutions, ultimately to create a leading Organization
- Develop novel, and introduce new initiatives to increase revenue growth initiatives and to continuous improve commercial excellence measured by KPIs

**Your background**
- Science Bachelor’s degree or equivalent as a minimum requirement, enhanced with Business / MBA or similar qualification
- Proven track record within high growth environments as Commercial Leader in the Life Sciences industry with P&L responsibility
- Proven track record of driving substantial revenue growth for new and existing Accounts, preferably within laboratory automation
- Must have a high level of strategic agility, excellent decision making and problem-solving skills, and demonstrated abilities to drive innovation
- Demonstrated Organisational Management and Leadership skills, ability to attract top talent, develop high performers, and hold people accountable for their performance.
- High level of cultural sensitivity and awareness to create a diverse organization, while also engaging effectively across an experienced European peer group
- Demonstrated success in both direct line leadership and highly matrixed environments
- Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and a mindset of continuous improvement
- Passionate and open to the new ideas and ways of working
- Objective driven, structured and pragmatic working style with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Willingness to travel internationally (Europe)
- Fluent in French and English, Spanish / Italian or other European language is an advantage
