- Summary
- Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house.
- While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful.
- Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director.

- The position lies within the Media team and is based in the Balenciaga headquarters in Paris. As part of the Media Department, you will assist the team in implementing an international advertising strategy for digital and traditional media. You will have the opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge of the various online and offline advertising levers and to develop your project management skills.- How you will contribute_
- Gather and verify technical specifications for each media plan (press, billboard, digital).
- Monitor the production of all advertising formats (from creation to online) for all markets, in liaison with the image department and a specialized agency.
- Prepare redirection links
- Organize all digital media files (brief, plan, reports, analyses, media kits, etc.).
- Prepare campaign archive reports (screenshot reports).
- Follow up invoices with the accounting department.
- Monitor trends in digital advertising (innovations, formats, etc.).
- Participate in meetings with various media players
- Optimize campaign management
- Coordinate fluid communication with internal teams to ensure smooth flow of information
- Assist with general administrative work
- Who you are?_
- Enrolled in a master’s degree, you are looking for a 6 months internship
- A first experience in the media or digital sector would be ideal
- Familiar with the spirits and codes of luxury
- Excel and Powerpoint master is mandatory
- Fluent in english
- Self-motivated, professional attitude, diligent and reliable team player
- Open-minded and solution-focused
- Highly organized and keen eye for detail
- Humble, a good listener, and pays attention to details
- Able to contribute to multiple projects at once and adapt quickly to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
