YOUR ROLE
The General expenses and professional fees procurement lead buyer is responsible for leading and managing all commercial, contractual and supplier management activities relating to the supply of goods and services from his/her perimeter external Suppliers on a global scope.
He/she shall also drive the category with his/her peers in the regions.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Define General expenses and professional fees category strategies with the team at the global level and lead the implementation of global procurement strategies through the CEVA group
- Foster the cooperation between Central, regional, and Local, and ensure adherence to global strategies by monitoring regular touch points with regional buyer teams, and sharing best practices within the procurement community
- Conduct needs analysis, supplier sourcing, and market intelligence on General expenses and professional fees subcategories (Hardware, Software, Telecom, Service)
- Act as prime interface of internal stakeholders as well as purchasing region to understand needs and communicate about deals negotiated
- Manage tendering process, supplier selection, and contract negotiation for the global panel in line with the costs and performance objectives as defined per the global procurement budget.
- Lead global deal implementation with the support of procurement regions and countries. Support change management locally and governance with all stakeholders involved.
- Contribute to procurement performance (savings reporting in internal tool, supplier baseline reduction program, governance follow-up) and monitor this performance through dedicated reports
- Monitor global level suppliers’ performance using appropriate metrics and tools and leading to improvement plan with the suppliers
- Contribute to purchasing performance and monitor this performance through dedicated reports
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Minimum 3-5 years in procurement with General expenses and/or professional fees expertise
- Result driven, accurate, organization and presentation skills
- Fluent in English, strong and persuasive communication skills
- Fast learner
- Business or finance degree or CIPS qualification
- Experience as a lead buyer and project management in a matrix organization
- Change management skills
